Spring in Our Step

Spring has sprung here in Delta Nu Zeta and it came much earlier than March 20th! This semester, the superladies of DNZ took to the skies in search of a super Nu pledge class to hopefully Induct and Initiate as super sisters! Rush week brought us many villains (rain, snow, you know the usual thwarters of plans) but we were able to preservere and offer Bids to 10 wonderfully super Nu's!! We even had an alumnus come and visit it us during our Bid night festivities! Welcome Home Phi Class!!!

As busy and as successful as Fall was, Spring has already been just as busy and twice as successful! After Rush week we jumped into Nu week so that sisters and Nus could be to know each other and start figuring out who the Big/Little pairs should be! We went bowling, painted some beautiful pottery and finished the week off with DNZ's annual Hayride. As always, all seven of the dogs were happy to see us. This one especially wanted his picture taken.

Hayride weekend was also Sisters weekend as the Alpha and Beta chapters of Delta Nu Zeta met up at Suwannee River State Park for some sister bonding! We had a lovely lunch, played some games, explored nature, and took tons of pictures! DNZ FSU LOVES DNZ UF!

Big/Little week soon sprung upon us and it was filled with clues, presents, and anticipation by the Phi class! Phi class says they loved all of their presents and clues! Most of the girls were even able to figure out who their Big was before Reveal!
Induction brought growth to all of the families and also showed us all how lucky we are to be part of this organization!

Sisterhood Retreat Spring 2014 took place is Eufala Alabama and Providence Canyon in Georgia!

At Providence canyon, sisters and Nu's were split into the Power Rangers and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in order to play DNZ's version of the Olympic Games. Team TMNT came out victorious! After the games, we went and hiked down to the canyon where we explored and climbed as much as possible!

Providence Canyon was tons of fun and many of the girls who don't normally get to hang out with one another were able to bond! After our eventful day in the clay, everyone returned to the cabin in Eufala for dinner and pictures!

As you can see Spring has been very busy and were only half way through! We hope to have many more adventures before our Senior Sisters leave in May so look out for more updates!

Passion. Sisterhood. Charity
